A documentary about disabled children empowered through therapeutic horse riding.
Childhood and innocence are recurring themes at this year’s fair. For me, the highlight was Matthew A. Handal’s video “Riding with thisABILITIES.” Mr. Handal strikes the perfect tone, neither cool nor sappy, and supports his story with great framing and editing. He was included in the Governor’s Island Art Fair through the New York Foundation for the Arts.

A wonderful, extraordinary documentary.

A wonderful, moving documentary. It holds up to the light how a horse changes the lives of these inner city NY children and their families. I was quite moved. It was quite magical to see the Claremont Riding Academy again, and Paul Novagrad, (who passed away last year) stride across the arena. It brought tears to my eyes.

Moving and inspiring!

It's so interesting to learn about the therapeutic horse riding programme, and, to see the benefits on the children and their families.
